This is the email we sent to the publisher’s Contact Us address:

Dear Sirs,
I bought Editor for iPad and I’m really, deeply unsatisfied of the result.

The app is excessively slow in accepting text input and characters appear on screen with an unacceptable delay on the actual typing having place.

The text cursor goes wildly offset and doesn’t match the actual writing position on screen, so that – to place the cursor in line X – I must tap the screen two or three lines down.

The app requires every file to be manually saved and this goes against the iPad Human Interface Guidelines. The Save command always shows file name and I must tap the Save button on the main screen and then another Save button in a dialog box instead of just pressing Save (even this one would be too much, remember). I think I have actually lost text that should have been saved in a couple of instances, but I admit not being sure of it still; I could be wrong. However, your entire saving interface is flawed, being Editor an app for the iPad.

I’m going to write a very negative review of the app on App Store and I want you to know that.
