As far we know, no other major recording artist has done this yet, no other artist has told the story of an album like this before.
Atlantic Records has taken an uncommon approach to using Apple’s iBooks Author — touted as a creation platform that will “reinvent the textbook” — by building an interactive ebook for the band Shinedown‘s next album.
The 75-page iPad ebook will be available March 27, coinciding with the Amaryllis album release. The ebook visually tells the story of the multi-platinum rock band’s new songs, creative process and …

The Home button, one of the very few iPad annoyances, is a long-time doomed feature that may has come to an end.

Did you read all that bullshit about the iPad being a consumption device, neither good for work nor content production?
Well, Damon Albarn told NME to have recorded his new Gorillaz album on an iPad.
I’ve made it on an iPad – I hope I’ll be making the first record on an iPad, Damon said. I fell in love with my iPad as soon as I got it, so I’ve made a completely different kind of record.
Now it’s clear that whatever you read in the past about iPad not being able to …

Although in Chinese, the video below well deserves a look: a fake Steve Jobs, a chinese one namely, holds a press conference yesterday in Hong Kong to celebrate the launch of the MTR Mobile (Hong Kong’s transportation ) subway app (check here the app, if you dare!).

The clone at the conference was local celebrity Law Kar-ying; Law seems to have studied the man he was emulating quite well: he gets everything right, from the gulps of bottled water to the Levis and turtleneck.
Great!
